Innovation and Design Thinking
One of the latest tools when it comes to innovation is Design Thinking. The method was originally developed by IDEO in Palo Alto, Calilfornia and then developed further at Stanford University. With the support of SAP co-founder Hasso Plattner, the D-School at Stanford and the HPI Academy in Potsdam were established and have in the last decade taken a pioneering role in the development and dissemination of Design Thinking around the world.
Design Thinking is a systematic, human-centered approach to solving complex problems that can be leveraged to develop innovations at the intersection of user desirability, technical feasibility and market viability. If you understand the needs of your customers, you will be able to design a "momentum product" that the customers will buy - rather than a product that you have to "sell".
A module in Design Thinking equips you you as a manager to enable your company's future innovation potential. You will learn strategic business practices and innovation processes which you be able to transfer directly to your business.
